The final weighted score of 70% (C) or greater from Homework/Workbook Assignments, the Midterm Examination, the Final Examination, and the Final Audition, and at least 14.4 of 16.0 hours of attendance are required for satisfactory course completion and to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Skill Drills (20%)

Students can access a variety of untimed Skill Drills in their Learning Portal, which can be practiced as many times as needed to build their skills. These untimed drills are purely for practice and are not graded. In contrast, there are 18 timed Skill Drills that count as the Homework/Workbook Assignments portion of the final grade. The Homework/Workbook score is determined by the number of unique timed Skill Drills completed with a perfect score of 100%. Students can attempt each timed drill as many times as necessary to achieve this score. Once a score of 100% is earned on a specific timed Skill Drill, it is recorded, and additional attempts with the same result will not be counted. To earn full credit (100%) for the Homework/Workbook Assignments, students must achieve a perfect score of 100% on all 18 timed Skill Drills, at least once.

Midterm Examination (40%)

At the end of Class 4, the Midterm Examination will be accessible through the student’s online Learning Portal. The exam consists of 50 questions designed to evaluate Course Learning Outcomes 1-5 and must be completed prior to the start of Class 5.

Final Examination (20%)

At the end of Class 7, the Final Examination will be accessible through the student’s online Learning Portal. The exam consists of 50 questions designed to evaluate Course Learning Outcomes 1-10 and must be completed prior to the start of Class 8.

Final Audition (20%)

Class 8 is dedicated to the Final Audition, where students will showcase their skills and knowledge. During this session, the Examiner will present live, gaming-related scenarios designed to align with each of the ten Course Learning Outcomes. Students will be evaluated on their technical performance, proficiency, computational accuracy, procedural execution, and overall understanding of each scenario. Each Learning Outcome will be graded on a 10-point scale, providing a comprehensive assessment of the student's aptitude and mastery.
